Please forgive us for not having written to you before now, we've been very busy since the moment we arrived home in the middle of August! We had a wonderful, wonderful time in Guilin and in China in general, everything went extremely well, thanks, in part, to you, and we won't forget your help. What a pity that we didn't think to take a photo with you! Thank you for everything, and we hope to see you again one day. Dear Karen,
Thanks very much for organising such a wonderful tour for us. I have been living in China for the past 18 monthes and already knew how warm and friendly the people are to visitors but, this was my wife's first time in China, and she loved it. Both Emily and Leo were exceptional and extremely knowledgeable. But, if I had to choose only one to be our guide for the entire tour, it would be Emily. Please do not take this as a mark against Leo because his local knowledge is very impressive. But Emily focused on our intrest of scenic areas for photo's and put in extra effort to find those spots on the tour. For the hotels, I was a little disappointed in the value per cost for each. For the cost of the rooms, small items such as internet connections should not have cost extra. However, this does not matter i recommend China Highlights to my friends, and i will definately contact you when i could take a vocation or my family visiting me again.

I have been meaning to write to thank you for a marvelous China trip. I feel you were a very important part in making this trip for me a dream come true. My guide, Yoshi, was very helpful and pointed out many sites along the way. His English and Chinese history knowledge is excellent. My most memorable part of the trip was the Great Wall. The weather cooperated so beautifully that day and I was able to walk for over an hour. Thanks much for that excursion. Sunworld Hotel was excellent, the breakfasts were outstanding with a wide variety of choices, and the wait staff was very courteous and friendly. I will surely recommend your tour group to friends and relatives who have plans to visit China in the future. And next time when I get to see the terra cotto soldiers I will definitely contact your company.

We all had a great time. Forbidden City impressed us most. All of your guides were attentive and professional, especially, Beijing And Xian - Beijing was very informative and interesting and Xian - same, but English was better. Hotels were up to the standard, Carolyn and i thought Crowne Plaza Beijing is the best, while James and Pat prefered Sofitel in Xian, we are different taste. For your information, we enjoyed the Good restaurants, but would have enjoyed more "local neighborhood restaurants. The one we did eat in had the Best food. Based on above, we will definitely return, and see more of your great country and friendly people.

Hi Leon,
I apologise for taking so long to reply to your questions as I have been very busy with another trip early Feb. Going on the talk and conversation of the group,I would say the Great Wall visit ,amongst 23 men was the most impressive,simply the age, the engineering and the immensity of the task in that terrain. Whilst the 3 guides did their job very well, the last chap Jeffrey had the best english,and went out of his way to answer and explain all the queryies the group put to him, plus relating to us other items of interested on the chinese way of life. The 3 hotels we stayed at were excellent and did their very best to make our stay enjoyable. The majority of the group were well travelled and accustomed to nearrly the best available ,all remarks were positive. I would not hestitate to recommend your co. Our group was very short on time,I would suggest for sighting seeing 2weeks is needed just to visit the 3 cities we visited however we saw the main attractions,which was certainly an eye opener ...more
