We enjoyed our short trip with China Highlights very much. The Huang Shan was truly awe inspiring, seeing it both with clouds wreathed around the rocky pinnacles and on a clear morning. The gardens in Suzhou were also magical, both sights you can see nowhere else. Both our tour guides were excellent, being very helpful with all our requirements. Both guides made sure we got on the trains all right, even though departure times were late in the evening. The visits to the silk factory and the ink factory in Huang Shan City were very interesting side trips. The hotels were fine. Perhaps one drawback was that Western food was not available at some due to being out of the season. It can be difficult for Western visitors to eat Chinese style food all the time. We will certainly recommend your company to other people intending to visit China. Just wanted to say thanks! I had a great trip with Ally and our driver. They were both brilliant! I gave them both a good tip after 5 days work but I am not sure that you mentioned anywhere in the travel materials that travellers should tip in China. This was my first experience with an internet-based travel agency and I was very impressed with your efforts because: I gave you such short notice – only 3 working days notice; I got your fax at my hotel in Shijiazhuang when I had no internet access so communication about all my travel bookings the day before my trip was very reliable; and the itinerary was just what I wanted to do and see, very flexible and very useful for my landscape design work. So thank you again and I would be very happy to travel with your company again in the future.

Wow...The Yangtze River Cruise...it was AMAZING...1st class ship....there is absolutely nothing that anyone could complain about. I met a lot of other western people on the ship and we were all very, very happy with the ship and it's facilities. Im very glad I took the option to have a room by myself, it was very well worth having the extra privacy. The rooms were very comfortable with everything you need and alot more. The staff and personnel were all really helpful, organized, informative and friendly. The food was always very fresh with lots of variety and more than enough to go around. Alot of activites and presentations are also offered on the ship. I have become a walking advertisement for the Victoria & The Yangtze River....A very special holiday that will last with me for a long time. Hope this is of some help to you. The most memorable attraction we visited was the actual Three Gorges Dam locks. Curtis, the River Guide. His knowledge was outstanding, his presentations were excellent and as busy as he was at times, he remained a delightfully pleasant person to engage with. Ours was a very brief trip into China - one night transit stop in a Guangzhou hotel, but otherwise the three nights on the Victoria ship (I cannot recall the specific name of our ship). The ship's meals were certainly of excellent standard and we were very pleased with the accommodation. I would unhesitatingly recommend your company. Notwithstanding our very simple and short trip, it involved a frequent exchange of emailed questions which were always promptly responded to by your office. Dear Candy,
Both Carol & myself enjoyed the tour that was organised. Carol especially enjoyed Xian and both of us thought that two days was insufficient time to enjoy the sights. Our guide told us at the last minute about a new tomb that was opened last year that had smaller warriors & a glass floor. We would have enjoyed seeing it. Can you tell us the name so that I can look it up on the internet. Shanghai was also good & we appreciated the tour to the water village. Both our guides Liang Shuang in Xian and Angela in Shanghai looked after our needs. Especially when we told them that we enjoyed “Real” Chinese cuisine and not the food usually provided for tourists taste. We would certainly recommend them. Our drivers Mr Wong (Xian) & Mr Han (Shanghai) were also competent & obliging.
