The best thing about the trip was our visit to Guilin itself, in particular, the Li River cruise and the Yulong bamboo rafting trip. The city is remarkably beautiful and the sights are breathtaking. I think that Guilin is a place not to be missed when visiting China. I also enjoyed dealing with you Elaine. I appreciated your prompt and efficient replies and your willingness to accommodate our needs. Mark, our greeter in Guilin was also very professional and helpful. We planned on contacting you to tell you that we enjoyed our trip very much and it far exceeded our expectations! We were a bit apprehensive about the tour since we were not using a travel agent and trusting that China Highlights was legitimate, since everything about your firm was only by way of the internet. This was a big trip for us all and we really didn't really know what to expect in China itself. The best part of our trip which we did not realize from the start was in fact the tour guides and drivers you supplied us. When we arrived in Beijing, Joy was right there with her sign in hand welcoming us to China. As this was really a private tour we became very fond of her and depended on her in everything we did.
